What the Program Contains ?
The diploma covers key areas of child psychology, including developmental stages, factors influencing child development, family and parenting dynamics, and common childhood concerns. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of major childhood disorders such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning disabilities, and Down syndrome, along with training in child-focused assessments, case history taking, mental status examination, and standardized screening tools. The program also introduces evidence-based therapeutic approaches including behaviour modification techniques, CBT for children, play therapy, art therapy, mindfulness activities, and parent-child interaction therapy. Practical learning is integrated through 50+ counselling activities and worksheets, role plays, case discussions, and an internship involving two supervised cases under the guidance of an experienced psychologist.
